IMPORTANT NOTICE<\/center><\/h2>\n

In an abundance of caution and to ensure CHYRC is following its bylaws, the Board has decided that it will call the meeting as scheduled on October 10, 2026, and then adjourn the meeting until December 12, 2026. The reasoning for this is that after the notice of meeting packets were mailed out, we discovered that, even though the cover letter essentially outlines exactly what would occur at the annual meeting, the specific agenda required by the bylaws was mistakenly not included in the packet. The new date for the adjourned annual meeting will be December 12, 2026, and notice packets with details on the December 12th meeting will be mailed to members in the coming days. Please note that any proxy submitted will be held and used at the December 12th meeting unless a member revokes it or attends the December 12th meeting. In addition, the elections have proceeded as planned, and, in accordance with the Bylaws, the newly elected board members will be announced and sworn in at the December 12th meeting. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes anyone, but again, the Board feels it is important to give the required notice to all members.<\/mark><\/p>\n

We are a private club located in beautiful\u00a0Colington Harbour<\/a><\/strong> on The Outer Banks that is open for membership to anyone living in the Harbour as a property owner or year-round resident.<\/h4>\n

Members of the Colington Harbour Yacht and Racquet Club have use of the pool, tennis courts, and clubhouse. To become a member is simple: just download and print the application for membership under the “Join Club” tab above, fill it out, and return it to the address on the application with the appropriate membership dues. You can also pick up an application at the clubhouse and leave your membership information in the CHYRC drop box on the door behind the stairwell or mail it to the address on the application. Either way, you can become a member by this summer and be able to use our wonderful facilities for the entire season!<\/h4>\n
